Service Advisor

Asheboro Ford's fast-paced dealership is looking for a HIGHLY MOTIVATED individual to join the Asheboro Ford Service Team. We are looking for a dedicated professional to assist our customers with all their service needs. The ideal candidate should be able to confidently communicate to our customers the value of maintaining their vehicle for optimal performance and have a proven track record with high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting Customers Promptly
  • Obtain Customer and Vehicle Information
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determining and recommending needed maintenance based on the age, mileage, and history of the vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate cost for parts and labor
  • Establish a clear follow-up schedule
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Clearly explain all completed work and charges to the customers

Experience:

  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred)


Service Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Performs lubrication, general inspection, and other related services.
  • Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replenishes as necessary.
  • Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
  • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
  • Keeps updated on manufacturer technical bulletins.
  • Reports equipment defects or malfunctions to manager.
  • Responsible for keeping work area clean and neat. Workbenches and tool boxes must be free of clutter.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Re-inspects work performed prior to returning a vehicle to the guest.
  • At the time of redelivery, gives each guest a thank you, warm good-bye, invitation to return and, when possible, a personal escort to their vehicle.

Requirements:

Mechanical aptitude.

  • Prior vehicle maintenance experience encouraged.
  • Able to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to reach, lift and carry 20-75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk entire shift.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.

We are looking for professional and outgoing Automotive Sales Consultants to join us and team with our dealership staff, supporting our customers with world class service and assisting us in building and representing Asheboro Ford.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Consultants take the customers through a thorough buying process supported by established selling steps, policies and procedures
  • Develop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle features
  • Demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom and via test drive
  • Provide vehicle to customer through an established delivery process, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, loyalty and long term clientele
  • Develop a prospecting system, making calls and sending emails to potential customers to set appointments
  • Close Deals!

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years sales and customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of new vehicle technologies helpful
  • Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Consistent and stable work history
  • Valid driver’s license required and clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
