Each 2019 Ford F-450 model is equipped with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 turbo diesel engine. This engine delivers up to 450 horsepower and 935 pound-feet of torque. Unique to the Power Stroke is its inverse-flow design that allows for quicker air displacement and increased power. This engine is equipped with the Torqshift heavy-duty 6-speed automatic transmission with Selectshift. The 6.7-liter diesel engine also includes engine exhaust braking featuring driver-activation. It gives you better control while traveling downhill, regardless of the conditions.

Performance

Available for the 2019 Ford F-450 is adaptive cruise control with collision warning. This feature provides more flexibility using cruise control by automatically slowing you down when traffic slows and then resuming your set speed when it picks back up. The collision warning aspect pre-charges your brakes in case you don't react fast enough. This feature is also included in the trailer's brake controller for when you're hauling a heavy load. For even more control, the F-450 comes standard with AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control and trailer sway control. These systems feature gyroscopic sensors that assist in automatically reducing the engine's power and controlling the brakes so that both the truck and the trailer remain stable at all times.

Interior

The 2019 Ford F-450's more advanced trim levels feature SiriusXM satellite radio, SYNC 3, and a B&O premium sound system by Bang & Olufsen.
